Sunday night...finally made it to BBM about 30 minutes ago, more than 16 hours after we left the church parking lot this morning.  Our delay at LaGuardia extended to five hours -- two waiting on the tarmac for our turn to be de-iced.  After our three-hour flight, we started the fourth leg of the journey, the drive to Biloxi.  We opted to forgo our lunch stop, turning it into an early dinner break instead, then encountered torrential rain in Mississippi.

And then the final insult: a mile and a half from the mission,we came to a dead stop on the bridge over the Back Bay, where we sat, frustrated, for 55 minutes behind an accident.  

It was a challenging trek, for sure, but we're here safe and sound, and the Newtown folks, along with Kristen and Monte Stenger, were here to greet us.
